Young Artists in Service presents the… GLOBAL YOUTH ART EXCHANGE.

We are pleased to announce that the space and intention we hold for Camp Indigo will be offerred throughout the year starting with this dynamic program held in Oct and Nov.

Come join us for a two-part PEACE PROJECT engaging Austin area youth in creative service to the Bhatti Mines School in India.  To REGISTER click here.
Session #1 we will explore the importance of service, cultural awareness and create gifts of art that will be exchanged during the upcoming Service Retreat in India this Fall.
Session #2 we will share the impact of this project and complete the cycle of exchange by receiving the offerings from the youth in India. We will also explore ways to spread the Global Youth Art Exchange (GYAE) to others.
GYAE is a program designed to encourage youth of the world to see themselves as empowered global citizens with dynamic gifts to be shared. It supports individual creative expression as well as contribution to the whole.
Why is this program so important?
  • Global – We live in a world that is increasingly asking us as a population to communicate, cooperate and create as one global village.
  • Youth – They offer a fresh perspective to life and hold the seeds of vast possibilities for the future.
  • Art – The act of creation opens a potential to express, problem solve, and discover the world in new and innovative ways.
  • Exchange – The act of exchange emphasises the inherent value of all as equal contributors rather than an act of charity from one to another.
