What: One Village Project – International Day of Peace
When: Friday, September 21st, 2012, starting at 4:45pm
Where: Butler Park – 1000 Barton Springs Road
In honor of the International Day of Peace, we will be gathering as a Village to cultivate peace within our hearts, within our city and within our world. The evening will include a village circle, a peace march, a candlelight vigil and a concert.
This One Village Project will be part of a larger, global event called BeThePeace which will include hundreds of cities and thousands of people across the world. It will be the largest peace-related event ever!

4:45pm – Meet at Butler Park – 1000 Barton Springs Road
5:00pm – Village Circle
6:00pm – Peace March Art Project
7:00pm – Peace March
7:45pm – Candlelight Vigil at Lamar Street Bridge
9:00pm – 11:00pm – Village Concert at Amala Foundation featuring Rattletree Marimba
