Connecting Through Mindfulness Retreat

Connect more compassionately with yourself and others through mindfulness. This full-day retreat will include guided practices, journaling exercises, movement, and sharing circles. No experience required.

Join us for Connecting Through Mindfulness,  a beginner’s level retreat with Amelia Yant and Jen Lucas Sunday, March 8th, from 10 am – 4 pm.

This retreat will be a light-hearted and accessible introduction to mindfulness. We will spend time getting to know one another, debunk myths about mindfulness, practice movement, and stillness, do some journaling, and explore how mindfulness can help us work with the challenging situations that show up as a part of everyday life. Participants will leave with a multi-dimensional, real-world understanding of mindfulness practice, simple mindfulness tools for self-care, and a deep sense of connection to themselves and each other.

Participants are asked to bring a packed lunch. The Amala Foundation has a full kitchen with a stove, microwave, and fridge for storing and warming food. There are also restaurants nearby.
