Volunteer (and Grow) at Camp Indigo
We have a special way we work with children, encapsulated by Camp Indigo’s founder, Vanessa Stone: “The power and impact of the camp is that those who come to serve show up with a willingness to give, to grow, and to be transformed through mindful service to others. Camp Indigo inspires and supports children to experience joyful self-expression, equality, friendship with others, and a deep and loving consideration of the whole. Camp is offered by amazing volunteers in a unique model of service.”
For volunteers, Camp Indigo can be a wonderfully heart-opening experience. We welcome volunteers from 13yrs and up (volunteers under 18 require parental permission).
We will have need for volunteers who can assist with the children’s groups and activities during the camp days, and possibly run activities for the children. We’ll also have need for pre-and during camp coordination, some of this is admin related as well as tasks/errands for camp operations, prep, and post-camp organization.
Camp Indigo is powered by inspired volunteers from all walks of life. Are you a teacher, musician, artist, performer, gardener, yoga teacher, dancer, builder, inventor, or juggler? Do you have a skill or knowledge that you’d like to share with children? Apply to volunteer at Camp Indigo!
Thanks ever so much for your desire to serve at Camp Indigo!
