Diversity Leadership Conference

The Diversity Leadership Conference unites 150+ youth from 20 Austin-area middle schools for a day dedicated to breaking barriers and stereotypes, finding unity in diversity and growing as compassionate leaders.


2017’s DLC REGISTRATION

Registration for 2017’s conference will open December 6, 2016.  The cost of attending the Diversity Leadership Conference is $45 per person (for students & adults). Partial and full scholarship opportunities are available; please contact us for details. Breakfast and lunch will be provided. *Please note: no school or youth will be turned away due to financial considerations.

The Conference is made possible by the Alliance for Youth Leadership. Launched by the City of Austin’s Healthy Adolescent Initiative, the Alliance includes public agencies, non-profits, businesses, schools, youth providers and community volunteers.

Each year, the Diversity Leadership Conference unites 100+ youth from more than 20 Austin-area middle schools for a day dedicated to breaking barriers and stereotypes, finding unity in diversity and growing as compassionate leaders. Students and adults of diverse racial, ethnic, religious and cultural identities will collaboratively explore issues of diversity, equity and inclusion.
